PALM HARBOR, Fla. - A missing 67-year-old Palm Harbor man has been found safe.
Pinellas deputies said Lyle Dokken drove away from the Harbor Chase Assisted Living Facility on Tampa Road around 7 a.m. Monday. A short time later, a Silver Alert was issued.
Deputies found Dokken Monday afternoon in Dunedin. He was safe and has been returned to the assisted living facility.
Mr. Dokken is listed as having dementia.

A man was taken to the hospital Thursday after he was hit by a stray bullet while driving on SR-54 near Bruce Lane in Wesley Chapel. ABC Action News learned this is the second time a driver has been shot at on this stretch of road in the past year.
