LARGO, Fla. - A former special agent with the Department of State's Bureau of Diplomatic Security pled guilty to transportation of child pornography Friday.

According to court documents, James Charles Cafferty, 45, purchased memberships to several child pornography websites. A search warrant was carried out at his home, where detectives found hard drives with thousands of child pornography files on them.

Cafferty later admitted to detectives that he had shipped the hard drives from London to Largo.

Cafferty faces at least five years and prison and a fine of $250,000.
