LARGO, Fla. - Calling all gardeners - Florida Botanical Gardens Foundation is hosting its second annual Gift and Plant Sale on Sunday, December 11 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

The event is taking place in the formal gardens at Florida Botanical Gardens in Largo.

More than 45 vendors will be selling a unique collection of flowers and plants, including orchids, hibiscus, iris, bromeliads, native plants, herbs and citrus.

Specialty vendors will offer an assortment of items perfect for holiday gift giving, including clothing and accessories, outdoor and garden pieces, select food items, crafts, ornaments, candies and more.

Entry and parking are free for visitors during daylight hours.

Parking is available at both entrances to the Florida Botanical Gardens: 12520 Ulmerton Road and 12211 Walsingham Road.

Visitors are encouraged to make the most of their visit to the gardens and stay for the Holiday Lights in the Gardens, which is open from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. each evening through January 1.

The suggested donation for Holiday Lights in the Gardens is $2 per adult. Children under age 12 are free.
