Firefighters find body after Largo apartment fire

LARGO, Fla - Firefighters responded to a one alarm fire Saturday morning around 6:15, officials said.

The fire happened at the Laguna Vista apartments on South Belcher Road.

Responders quickly extinguished any flames.

Crews walked through the units after the fire investigating the damage, but they came upon something they did not expect to find.

In one of the apartments firefighters discovered a dead body.

Authorities have not released the identity of victim, nor made clear if they were killed by the fire or deceased before.
