LARGO, Fla. - Children and adults of all ages can ride the miniature trains of Largo Central Railroad this weekend.
The City of Largo offers this free activity between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on every first FULL weekend of every month.
While there is no charge, donations are appreciated to help keep the trains running for everyone.
Local non-profit organizations provide refreshments to raise money for worthy causes.
Additionally, with the Largo Rotary Rainbow Playground, a winding sidewalk path, a tranquil water feature, numerous shady patches, and great open expanses of lush grass, your family will surely have tons of outdoors fun all day.
Why not pack a picnic lunch and bring a kite or a ball to enjoy the day?
Leashed pets are welcome, and music serenades visitors all day long.
Largo Central Park is conveniently located at 101 Central Park Drive, which intersects East Bay Drive just east of Seminole Boulevard.
