DUNEDIN, Fla. - The owner of the lost SD card found on the Dunedin Causeway has come forward to claim her pictures.
Ashley Grilly says she was taking pictures of the sunset there last week, and didn't realize she left her card and other equipment until family and friends saw the report Monday on ABC Action News (see http://wfts.tv/11HYjqK ).
"At first I thought it was spam mail on Facebook. And then a few more came there, and I thought 'OK, I guess I lost my SD card,' and I had no idea."
Matthew Smith, the man who found the SD card and a camera lens said, "It's the right thing to do, and that's the important part. Is just to do the right thing, because it all comes back to you."
The card contained over 1,000 pictures of a young couple on vacation in Costa Rica. Smith said he just felt they were special memories someone probably wanted to hold on to, and that's when he contacted us.
As it turns out, Grilly said the pictures are of her, and her now ex-boyfriend.
