DUNEDIN, Fla. - Two big events are taking over Honeymoon Island this weekend.
Island EarthDays is held each year by Friends of the Island Parks, a non-profit organization that raises money to directly support Honeymoon Island and Caladesi Island State Parks.
It features live music and entertainment, bungee jumping, a rock wall, food, beer and wine, guided nature walks, activities for children, and much more.
Also on Saturday and Sunday is the Shark Bite Challenge - which features stand-up paddleboarding and canoe races.
For an $8 donation per vehicle (up to 8 people) at the gate, you can check out both of these great events with free parking.
Pets are permitted on a 6-foot handheld leash.
