DUNEDIN, Fla. - Dunedin High School launched its first bullying conference Friday morning. The theme of the conference is "stop the hate before it's too late."
Student, school and community leaders gathered for an open discussion about school bullying.
Joe Nash, a junior at Dunedin High School, organized the conference. He says he was bullied as a middle school student, and he wanted to draw on his painful experience to raise awareness.
The first conference included about 50 student leaders, and there are already plans to expand it to include the entire school next year.
