CLEARWATER, Fla. - Authorities placed Clearwater High School on lockdown for a short time Tuesday after a student reported that another student brought a weapon to class.
An unidentified student told a School Resource Officer that another student had a gun.
The officer found the student in question and pulled him out of class. He found a gun on the student and secured the weapon.
The lockdown was put in place at 12:34 p.m. and ended by 12:44 p.m., according to a statement.
