CLEARWATER, Fla. - Clearwater Police are searching for a fugitive on the run facing multiple robbery charges in a bizarre robbery attempt Monday night.
According to a police report, Genautry Pressley is wanted for breaking into a house and holding a man inside a gunpoint for nearly an hour demanding money before eventually taking off in the victim's car.
Later, as police were at the home investigating the robbery, the suspect allegedly called the victim and demanded that he give him money. The victim told the robber he'd cash a bond and a check and call the robber back when he had the money.
Police drove to a Wachovia on Gulf to Bay where they saw the victim's vehicle and the suspect, Glenn Humphreys inside. Humphreys ran off before police could capture him.
If you know he's hiding out, call the Clearwater Police Department at 562-4080.
