Clearwater among Amazon.com's most romantic cities in the United States

CLEARWATER, Fla. - According to Amazon.com, Florida has five of the most romantic cities in the US, including Clearwater at number 12 on the list.

The online retailer claims that Tallahassee is 20th most romantic, Gainesville is 17, Miami is number 7, and Orlando is fourth on the list of USA's most romantic cities.

The site rummaged through sales data of romance novels, relationship books (including print and Kindle), romantic comedy movies (digital and DVD), Barry White albums (CDs and MP3s), and 'sexual wellness' products.

For the third year in a row, Miami was tops in the sexual wellness products category, leading to Amazon.com calling our South Florida neighbors the sexiest city in the U.S.

Knoxville, Tennessee was the most romantic city, taking that title from Alexandria, Virginia, who held the top spot for the past two years.

New York City is the least romantic city.
