Clearwater -  

Clearwater Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday night and resulted in the shooting of 16-year-old Terry Sharp. 

Circumstances surrounding the shooting are unclear. It happened around 10:26 p.m. in the area of the Pinellas Trail and Fairmont Avenue. Police report that possible witnesses at the scene were not cooperative.

The Dunedin teenager provided limited information to authorities and was not able to provide a suspect description before he was airlifted to Bayfront Medical Center. His condition does not appear to be life-threatening.
