Belleair Elementary locked down after fake report of gunshots

CLEARWATER, Fla. - Belleair Elementary School was locked down Tuesday afternoon after someone called 911 and reported seeing a gun and hearing gunshots.
Clearwater Police lifted the lockdown after a thorough check of the school and premises revealed no evidence of a shooting.
Police have confirmed the call was a hoax, and are investigating the call.
