LUTZ, Fla. - The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is currently investigating a fatality boating accident on Lake Hobbs.

Lutz resident Ryan N. Burke, 30, died as a result of two personal water crafts colliding Saturday at approximately 3 a.m.

A  female was also reportedly injured and transported to St. Joseph's Hospital.

A Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office dive team recovered the body. Neither person was reportedly not wearing a life jacket.

State law requires everyone on a personal water craft to wear a life jacket, and that no one should operate a personal watercraft at any time between the hours from one-half hour after sunset to one-half hour before sunrise.
