Undercover child porn sting: Six arrested in Hillsborough County

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. - Six people have been arrested as part of an undercover child porn sex sting conducted by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

The initiative targeted people who engaged in the possession, production and distribution of child porn.

The two and a half month long investigation resulted in 10 search warrants.

In all, six people were arrested on 337 felony counts of possession of child porn.

A total of 67 computer items and 63 electronic items were seized during the operation.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, more arrests and charges are pending.
