RUSKIN, Fla - Tampa Police say reports of a gun on the Lennard High School campus in Ruskin resulted in a lockdown on Tuesday. Police determined a student brought a loaded pellet gun to school.
The lockdown has since been lifted.
Police are providing few details as to the age or year of the student.
According to police, someone tipped off administrators that a group of male students were seen passing the pellet gun around in the boy's bathroom.
A sweep by sweep of all classrooms led to the discovery of the pellet gun.
They are also not saying whether this student has been arrested of what disciplinary action might be taken against them.
