Storms cause over 60 flight delays at Tampa International Airport

TAMPA - Travelers on 67 flights are feeling the effects of Thursday's storms at Tampa International Airport.

As of right now, 47 departing and 20 arriving flights have been delayed.

Around 11:30 Thursday morning, a gate hold was put in place for the airport, stopping both arrivals and departures. The hold has since been lifted.

TIA warns that noise levels may be higher than normal due to the presence of low clouds.
