TAMPA - President Barack Obama is on the Tampa stretch of his six state blitz of campaigning.

The battleground state campaign event will started Wednesday, October 24, in Denver, Colorado, and ends Friday in Cleveland, Ohio.

Today, the president will be at a grassroots event in Cenntennial Park, in Ybor City.

The event opens to the public at 7:00 a.m., and the president is scheduled to speak at 9:00 a.m.

During the two-day state hopping the president will stop in Chicago to cast his ballot in person. He is the first president in history to participate in early voting in person.
