TAMPA - A man threw gas on another man and attempted to light him on fire Sunday night say police.

A verbal argument turned physical on Sunday night after suspect Michael Tony Cala repeatedly began calling Micah Williams a racial slur.

Cala grabbed a gas can, began dousing items on Williams' house porch, and started yelling at Williams, telling him to come outside.

Williams came outside and confronted Cala, who then began chasing Williams around the mobile home park, throwing gas on him.

Cala then began sparking a lighter, and continued to chase Williams, trying to set him on fire say police.

Cala yelled several racial slurs and said "Die, N----Die" say police.

Cala was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and battery.
