TAMPA - Tampa police say a Hillsborough High School student was seriously injured after being hit by two vehicles at Martin Luther King Boulevard and Central Avenue Thursday morning.

The victim, 16-year-old Andra Glover, was walking to school, crossing MLK at Central Avenue in the crosswalk at the light when the incident occurred.

Both drivers, 30-year-old Tiffany Werlinger and 62-year-old Ulysess Williams, had the green light and didn't see the victim in the crosswalk.

The student was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital where she was last listed in stable condition.

Roads at MLK and from I-275 to Florida were closed for east and west bound traffic, including Central Avenue from North Bay to Lake.

At this point it doesn't appear that the drivers were at fault, but the investigation is ongoing.

ABC Action News and abcactionnews.com will have updates.
