HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY - The Ronald McDonald 'Hamburglar' has struck again and stole yet another donation box at a McDonald's drive-thru here in Tampa, Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies report.
The theft occurred on August 15 at 12:39 a.m. at the McDonald's located at 7350 Waters Ave. in Tampa.
Surveillance video caught the suspect committing the crime.
Deputies say he made off with about $400.
The suspect is described as a w hite male, 22-29 years of age, 6'-6'2", 170-190 lbs., medium complexion,
medium build, short black hair and brown goatee. He was last seen wearing a pink t-shirt, blue shorts and brown flip flops.
Deputies believe this is the same man connected to four other donation box thefts. ABC Action News first brought you news of those thefts on Monday. Those cases are being handled by the Tampa Police Department.
