Help kids who have never celebrated their birthday enjoy the party they deserve

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. - If you remember back to when you were a child, most would probably agree, their birthday was a magical day. Now imagine never having celebrated one.

That is the case for hundreds of children right here in Hillsborough County, like 8 year old Jesus.

So the Children's Board Heart Gallery of Tampa Bay has come up with a program called "Birthday Buddies". It is a program that was set up to help children who are looking for a forever family, celebrate their special day.

And teaming up with them to throw that birthday bash for kids like Jesus, who wanted to celebrate at Chuck-E-Cheese, is the Junior League of Tampa, an organization of women committed to volunteering and improving our community.

The Junior League is throwing 14 spectacular birthday parties for 14 little ones within the Heart Gallery system.

But there are so many more kids, and so the Heart Gallery can use as much support as anyone or business can provide.
