TAMPA - A deputy was injured in a crash with a semi-truck Thursday morning.
The deputy was off duty, either coming from, or headed to work in his own vehicle when he slammed into the back of a semi while headed southbound on 301, just before Martin Luther King Boulevard.
The deputy suffered minor head injuries and was taken to the hospital. The driver of the semi was uninjured.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash.
