TAMPA - The Sunshine Skyway Bridge reopened Wednesday morning, but plenty of Tampa Bay area roads have issues due to Debby. Some parks are closed, too, and some shelters remain open. You can still get sandbags, too.
Closed Parks:
Ben T. Davis Beach, Picnic Island Park, and Cypress Point Park, Tampa
Courtney Campbell Park, Clearwater
Closed Roads:
Hillsborough:
Jerry Smith Rd closed S of Trapnell, between Touchstone & W.O. Griffin Rd, due to sinkhole. Use Turkey Creek.
Pasco:
The area still has the following closed roads but is allowing limited access to residents:
Additionally, the following roads are closed on the east side of the County:
Hernando:
The following roads or intersections remain closed at this time and residents are advised to continue to seek different routes around these locations. The Sheriff's Office would like to continue to remind drivers to avoid driving through areas of high water as the road conditions underneath may have changed causing unknown hazards.
Shelters:
American Red Cross will be opening a shelter at the following location in Brooksville at 3:00 P.M.
today.

Any residents who wish to obtain sandbags can pick them up at the following locations within Hernando County:
