Suleyka Mary Solano-Sanchez, 25, was getting in her car around 1:00 a.m. at the Lakeshore Club Apartments on North Himes Avenue in Tampa, when a man walked up, pulled a handgun and demanded her purse and keys.
Deputies say the man drove off in the woman's 2011 Dodge Magnum, and Solano-Sanchez called 911.
A countywide alert was issued, and deputies spotted the car around 5 a.m. near Lloyd Street and Old East Hillsborough in Seffner.
Deputies called for backup, and the driver eventually turned down a dead end road. Backup arrived, and they set up a road block.
The driver of the stolen vehicle then rammed two patrol cars while attempting to escape. No deputies were injured.
The driver jumped out of the car and fled on foot. A passenger in the vehicle was taken into custody.
K-9 deputies were brought in and tracked the suspect to a nearby home.
SWAT teams and hostage negotiators were called the residence at Grove Lane and Hwy 579. Nearby homes were evacuated.
Hostage negotiators began calling into the house and convinced two subjects to voluntarily come out on their own.
The third, Marvin Davy, 25, refused to exit the house.
SWAT members deployed a percussion device, entered the home, and found Davy hiding in the attic. Davy was taken into custody without injuries.
The victim was brought to the scene and positively identified the robbery suspect.
The passenger who was in the Dodge Magnum has not been charged and will be listed as a witness.
It was not immediately clear if the other two individuals taken into custody would be charged.
