HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla - Quantavious Threatts is accused of robbing a Hillsborough County hotel and restaurant at gunpoint.
Deputies say the 17-year-old is one of three suspects who robbed New China Restaurant of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Seffner on the night of May 30. Two of the men were armed with guns, according to detectives.
Surveillance video shows three suspects walk into the restaurant around 11 p.m., demand money out of the cash drawer and then run out the door.
On October 2, the clerk at La Quinta Inn in North Tampa was robbed at gunpoint.
Deputies say Threatts was one of two suspects who jumped over the counter and cleared out a cash drawer. The crime was also caught on surveillance tape and shows one of the suspects pointing a shotgun at the clerk.
Threatts is now facing robbery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges.
Investigators are still looking for additional suspects seen in the videos from both robberies.
The clerk was unable to offer comment to ABC Action News.
The managers and owners of New China Restaurant were not able to be reached for comment.
