DOVER, Fla - If you need a little something to get you in the Christmas mood, take a drive out to Wooten Road in Dover and you can’t help but get into the spirit.

Lane Wetherington and his volunteers put together one of the largest Christmas light displays in the bay area. His displays are extravagant…thousands and thousands of lights, a working train, fake snow, animatronic displays, holiday music and so much more.

Wetherington says this year he started putting up the displays in late October and he says he has more than 200 volunteers and neighbors helping with this labor of love. It’s his way of giving back to the community.

He’s got about 1400 amps of electricity running through the displays nightly and his electrical bill for this giant holiday light display is about $4500.

Wetherington’s light display runs 6pm-10pm nightly thru Dec 30th and is located at 2091 Wooten Road in Dover.
