BRANDON - Thieves used a stolen car and chains to rip the front doors from a Brandon CompUSA early Wednesday, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to a report of a burglary at 11211 Causeway Boulevard shortly after 5:30 a.m.

They found a Nissan Maxima in front of the store with chains attached.

The burglars, described as three black males, fled in another vehicle with a single flat screen TV, two monitors, and a number of empty laptop boxes, according to a sheriff's statement.

Damage to the store was estimated at $25,000.

Sheriff's spokesman Larry McKinnon said detectives are looking into the possibility the trio may be connected to a theft ring in South Florida.
