BRANDON, Fla. - Robert Murray's bail was set at $90,000 at his first appearance in front of a judge Thursday morning. The 56-year-old Brandon High School guidance counselor is at the center of a month-long-cyber investigation.  The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said Murray downloaded sexually explicit pictures of boys under 12 and as young as 7 years old.During the hearing, his niece spoke on Murray's behalf, defending his character.

Murray has been ordered to stay away from computers.

Murray is currently facing 80 second-degree felonies.

"Detectives began going through the first of 10 computers confiscated and immediately found over 80 photographs of children performing sex acts," said Sgt. Larry Mckinnon.

Investigators claim most of the pictures are of young boys and said when they arrested Murray he confessed to downloading the images.

Wednesday, students and parents of Brandon High were speaking out.

"It makes me feel uncomfortable because I'm under 18. Who knows how he's been looking at me?" said Martin Nelson who told ABC Action News he's one of Murray's senior students.

Tricia Falk said, "It makes your heart drop, its just horrible for an administrator to be accused of something like this, its pretty scary."

Investigators don't believe any of the pictures they've seen so far are those of children who attend Brandon High School, but they still have several computers to sort through.

They are asking anyone with information that may help detectives to contact the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 813-247-8729.
