SPRING HILL, Fla. - The Hernando County Sheriff's Office was on the scene of a situation involving a barricaded subject Saturday morning, but now say the incident has ended peacefully.
According to officials, a white male in his late 20s in the area of Chadwick Avenue and Paco Street in Spring Hill was thought to have holed up inside a home.
He allegedly made threats against only himself.
Nearby homes were evacuated and a perimeter was set up.
At 9:15 a.m. the SWAT team entered the residence and found no one inside.
The man apparently exited the home prior to the perimeter being secured by deputies, and he was apprehended at a 7-Eleven store at County Line Road and U.S. 19 in Pasco County.
