14-year-old teen arrested after breaking into six Spring Hill homes

SPRING HILL - A 14-year-old was arrested over the weekend after he broke into several Spring Hill homes during a five-day crime spree, according to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office.

The boy committed several burglaries and even entered into a home to steal a purse while the residents were present.

Deputies caught the boy over the weekend and the juvenile confessed to six burglaries.  

In addition to his burglary charges, he had an outstanding Juvenile Pick Up Order for Violation of Supervision for Burglary of Unoccupied Dwelling.

He was transported to the Juvenile Detention Center in Ocala.
