BROOKSVILLE, Fla. - A serious crash shut down all northbound lanes on I-75 Saturday morning for about an hour.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, it happened shortly before 6 a.m.
Hernando County Fire/EMS officials say two vehicles - a car and an SUV - were involved.
Four trauma patients were transported by ground to St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa. Due to foggy weather, it was not possible to fly those patients.
Shortly before 7 a.m., only the outside northbound lane remained blocked.
