SPRING HILL, Fla. - Residents in Hernando County are cleaning up today after severe weather brought down trees last night, Hernando County Sheriff deputies said.

Spring Hill sustained a decent amount of damage from the storm.

The damage included a tree that fell on a house on Allwood Road after it was struck by lightning.

No injuries were reported, but officials said a total of 10 trees fell around the Spring Hill area causing damage to homes and properties.

Traffic might be affected for some motorist tomorrow.

A three feet by three feet depression formed in the middle of Elston Street near Eileen Avenue.  Officials have barricaded the roadway until the depression can be repaired.

County residents are all too familiar with storm related damage. Tropical Storm Debby blew through last week causing severe flooding and property damage to people all throughout the county.
