CITRUS COUNTY, Fla. - Byron Lee Boutin, 44, of Homosassa, was arrested Thursday in the murder of Deanna Lee Stires, 18, of Brooksville. Stires went missing on New Year's Day, and her body was found in Levy County on January 18 (see http://wfts.tv/VH5TjE ).

"It was extremely important to this agency and both the Hernando County and Levy County Sheriff's Offices that we bring closure to the family of Ms. Stires," said Citrus County Sheriff Jeff Dawsy.

Lt. Brad Smith said more arrests may be made in the case. "We're continuing our investigation," Smith said. "As you can see by the arrest, this was a complicated situation that involved many different witnesses and locations. Bringing this case to a complete resolution continues to be a priority."
