Hernando County eases up water restrictions for residents

HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. - The Southwest Florida Water Management District is giving Hernando County residents an extra day to water their lawn over the next six months.

The Board of County Commissioners lifted the one day per week watering restrictions and the following lawn water schedule is to be enforced before 10 a.m. or after 4 p.m.

Even Addresses can water on Thursday and/or Sunday.

Odd Addresses can water on Wednesday and/or Saturday.

Locations without an address (such as common areas, rights-of-way) may water on Tuesday and/or Friday.
