HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla - Hernando County deputies say a woman drove through her neighbor's yard, pulled out a gun, shot into the air and then aimed the gun at her neighbor.
Tommie Cersosimo, 59, is facing multiple counts of aggravated assault.
Deputies say Thursday night, Cersosimo drove into the yard at 34456 Sunridge Drive.
The next door neighbor reportedly confronted Cersosimo about her driving.
Deputies say Cersosimo and her sister got out of the car and began arguing with the neighbor.
Another one of the defendant's sisters came out of the residence and also began arguing, an arrest report states.
Then, four other people approached the property line and the fight escalated into a physical confrontation. It is unclear the relationship these four people had to Cersosimo.
Deputies say during the fight, Cersosimo pulled out her Taurus .357 magnum pistol from her purse and fired one shot into the air.
The alleged victims told deputies Cersosimo then pointed the gun at them all and threatened to shoot them.
An arrest report states that Cersosimo stated she fired one round into the ground and never pointed the gun or threatened anyone with it.
Cersosimo claimed she fired the shot to stop the fight.
Deputies say they recovered the gun and it only had one spent round in it.
Authorities determined Cersosimo was the primary aggressor and charged her with five counts of aggravated assault with a firearm.
She is being held on $35,000 bond.
