HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. - Detectives arrested the owner of a pest control company for allegedly stealing jewelry from the homes of his customers.
John Suppa owns Suppa Pest Control and is charged with larceny and grand theft.
Suppa was spraying at a home on May 26, authorities said. After he left, the customer noticed she was missing some jewelry.
Deputies caught up with Suppa at his next stop in Spring Hill and discovered he had several pieces of jewelry with him. The customer identified two of the pieces as belonging to her.
Suppa also had two rings with him that belonged to another customer, investigators said. He had sprayed at her home earlier in the day.
Suppa has made numerous pawn transactions consisting of gold and jewelry in several different counties, according to authorities.
The Hernando County Sheriff's Office is asking anyone who had Suppa Pest Control work at their home and is missing jewelry to call (352) 754-6850.
