BROOKSVILLE, Fla. -
Investigators found three dead bodies Thursday night at a home on Caliquen Dr. near the Hernando Oaks Golf and Country Club south of Brooksville, according to Cpl. Jennifer Picardi with Hernando County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies found the bodies of 23-year-old Roseanna Sanson and her 9-month-old son Carter Sanson, along with the body of the suspect, 28-year-old Jamil Etayem after a welfare check.
A neighbor requested a welfare check after hearing arguments.
According to investigators, it appears that Etayem used a knife or knives to take the lives of his live-in girlfriend, her infant son and then his own.
Officials say the family had relocated from Ohio to their home in Brooksville in July of this year.
Deputies had been called to their Brooksville home on two other occasions.
The first time August 20, Sanson called officials, saying her boyfriend was threatening to hurt himself.
The deputy who responded noted that Sanson had some visible bruising. The deputy determined that the bruising came from her boyfriend and he was arrested for domestic battery.
Etayem was bonded out of jail on August 25 by a family member.
Before releasing him, deputies called Sanson to alert her of his release.
