INVERNESS, Fla - A fire truck at Station #3 in Inverness is sporting a hot pink cab in support of breast cancer awareness.
Officials say the flashy new look is simply a special pink spray paint that will be peeled off at the end of October.
The Citrus County Firefighters Union provided the funds to buy the paint.
In order to raise funds, the union purchased bright pink t-shirts to sell for $15 a piece.
At the end of the month, the money will go toward selected members of the Citrus County Sheriff's Office who have breast cancer to help with their medical bills.
