President Barak Obama is expected to speak shortly at the candlelight vigil for victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary school shootings.
Before Obama arrived, mourners joined together at Newtown High School to grieve together, comfort one another and memorialize the victims.
The interfaith ceremony is to honor the victims of the shooting. "These darkest days of our community shall not be the final word heard from us," said one of the speakers.
