Gov. Mitt Romney may have conceded defeat to President Barack Obama on election night, but his website told a different story, celebrating his “victory”.
For a brief period, the mittromney.com website transition site went live, showing what it was suppose to look like--had Romney actually won.
“I’m excited about our prospects as a nation. My priority is putting people back to work in America,” a quote on the page read. It also had information about Romney’s scheduled inauguration in January 2013.
The transition site was only up for a brief period, but it was long enough for Political Wire.com to grab some snap shots of pages with “The Office of the President Elect” “Join the Administration” and “The nominees”, referring to his cabinet selection process.
It’s not clear how the blog learned about the transition site, but to look at the pages, click here: http://politicalwire.com/archives/2012/11/07/romneys_transition_site.html
