Gabrielle Giffords is expected to attend the final day of events at the Democratic National Convention today.
A spokeswoman for the former Congresswoman from Arizona told CNN Giffords is in Charlotte for the DNC.
Giffords was badly wounded in a shooting in Tucson, Arizona last year.
She resigned from Congress as she continues her recovery.
