The FBI and Washington State Patrol are helping search for a missing 16-year-old girl feared kidnapped because the screen to her bedroom window was cut open.

Mason County Chief Criminal Deputy Dean Byrd says the sheriff's office also has asked for a state crime scene investigator.

Vivian Gaspar-Guerrero was last seen at 9 p.m. Tuesday in her bedroom. Her parents discovered her missing at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday with the window open and signs of a struggle in the room. The sheriff's office issued an Amber alert.

Byrd says investigators are canvassing and re-canvassing the neighborhood. They have no suspects.

Gaspar-Guerrero is Hispanic, 5-foot-2 and weighs 128 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair just past her shoulders. She is believed to be wearing black shorts and a black blouse.
