MARYLAND - Two students are dead and one is injured after an armed student shot two others then fatally shot himself near the University of Maryland campus early Tuesday morning, WJLA reports.
The shooting happened at a home near the university, and officials say all parties involved were students.
The shooter reportedly started a fire in the basement of the home on Metzerott Road, and then shot two students inside before shooting himself.
One of the other victims died and the other is expected to survive. The fire was quickly extinguished. Officials are investigating the shootings.
