In case you didn’t know, September 29 is National Coffee Day!
According to Coffee Research , the coffee bean’s origin dates back to its cultivation in the 6th century after discovering the bean in Central Ethiopia.
Now over 400 billion cups of coffee are consumed yearly, and millions of folks across America have already toasted the holiday with their first cup of java, but there are a number of businesses that will let you grab a cup for free or at a discounted price.
The Florida based Barnie’s Coffee & Tea Co. is offering free coffee to all of their customers today.
Select Dunkin Donuts retailers are giving customers free coffee. The company will also donate a portion of their sales to several Special Olympic groups. Contact your local Dunkin Donuts to find out if the store is participating.
An online coffee retailer Boca Java is offering free shipping as well.
McDTampaBay , a McDonald's twitter account in Tampa Bay is giving free coffee to followers that respond to the question, "How do you McCafe?"
So remember to keep an eye on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter, as many retailers will be advertising their National Coffee Day promotions online.
Whether you drink it for focus, pleasure or a little bit of both, the coffee industry is grateful for your loyalty.
