TAMPA BAY, Fla. - The Powerball jackpot which had been at $173 million has grown to $203 million. That is because no one won matched all six winning numbers for the twelfth straight drawing.

Wednesday night's numbers were 1, 18, 21, 39, 55 with 6 as the Powerball. The lottery's multiplier was three.

Of the 149,887 winning sets of numbers in Florida, five people came very close to winning the big jackpot.

One ticket had the five regular numbers picked correctly and is worth $200,000. Four other tickets are worth $10,000 after matching the Powerball number and four other numbers.

The last time a Powerball jackpot surpassed the $200 million level was in August. One winning ticket worth $228.9 million was sold in Minnesota for the August 10 drawing.

The odds of winning the grand prize jackpot are 1 in 195,249,054.00.
