CLEVELAND - Cleveland police caught a group of men stealing an ATM from the GetGo gas station on Ridge Road early Thursday morning.

According to police, the men have been stealing ATMs for nearly a year and have stolen upwards of 40 to date.

Police said that a witness saw the men break into the GetGo and use an SUV to drag the ATM outside the store. The men were attempting to get the cash out of the ATM when police arrived.

The men took off in all directions but police were able to catch three of the four men immediately.

The fourth man hid underneath an SUV in a Denny's restaurant parking lot according to an eyewitness. As police closed in on him he attempted to steal the SUV he was hiding under but was caught by an employee of the Denny's.

The fourth suspect was able to flee the area without being caught by police.

As of 5:30 a.m. police called off the search for the fourth suspect, who remains at large.
