An 8-year old from North Dakota likes to cook and eat healthy foods, and its earned him a trip to the white house!

Young Logan Rosene is one of 54 winners who in won First Lady Michelle Obama's Healthy Lunchtime Challenge.

Rosene says he is not into soda or junk food, he’s all about his vegetables.

According to him, salty, greasy foods are yucky.

He loves healthy meals so much, he and his mom sent his favorite recipe in for the challenge, and now he is going to be Michelle Obama’s guest at the first ever Kids State Dinner in a couple of weeks.

"The coolest thing would be having the honor to be there. Not too many people are probably able to go there and to just to be in the same room as the first lady is something pretty special," he said.

A 12-year-old Floridian, Deborah Goncalves, also placed as a winner with “Triple F:” Fake Fast Food.

In late August, the recipes will be posted online as a free downloadable and printable e-cookbook that will include nutritional analysis, photos and drawings at letsmove.gov , USDA.gov , and Ed.gov .
