LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The University of Southern California is on lockdown after four people were shot at a Halloween party on campus, with one of the victim’s in critical condition, according to a Los Angeles Times report.
Officials say the suspect fired at one person outside the party, but also hit three bystanders Wednesday night.
The targeted victim sustained serious injuries and the other three suffered non-life threatening wounds.
The suspect, who was taken into custody, was not a USC student.
A USC student told told L.A. Times that the party was at maximum capacity and there were about 100 people outside, including police, when the shooting occurred. The witness said at least four shots were fired.
Students are being asked to stay inside. The incident is under investigation.
