DENVER - Five people were found dead inside a Denver bar & grill when firefighters responded to a fire early Wednesday morning.
Investigators have ruled it arson-homicide.
The dead include four women and one man, according to Lt. Phil Champagne, a spokesman for the Denver Fire Department.
The fire was reported at 1:50 a.m. local time at Fero's Bar & Grill.
When firefighters went inside, they found five bodies, all of them had some sort of trauma.
"Not sure the exact nature of the trauma," said Denver police chief Robert White.
The bar typically closes at 2 p.m., according to White. Investigators are trying to determine if the bar was open when the fire started or if it was in the process of closing.
